Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of East Hartford County Released Inmates. By browsing or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not accept every term, stop using the service.

This is a privately owned reference service with no government, police, court, jail, or corrections affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers consumer reports or FCRA-regulated services. Information may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-covered purpose. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

The site organizes links and instructions for East Hartford police records, Connecticut custody and court information, release notices, supervision records, and federal locators. It keeps no official inmate, release, arrest, or court record. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, file a request for a visitor, or issue an agency decision.

Some links connect to outside research tools. Those services operate independently and have their own prices, terms, data sources, and policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service lawfully and with respect for other people and the site’s operation. You must not:

  • Break a law or court order while using the site.
  • Use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or other regulated decisions on site content.
  • Attempt access to an account, server, or area without permission.
  • Run automated bots, scrapers, or extraction tools.
  • Damage, overload, or disrupt the service for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

East Hartford County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not supply screening services through this site. You agree not to use site content or linked results for employment decisions, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licenses, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other use governed by the FCRA.

External Links

Links may lead to police, court, corrections, parole, VINE, BOP, ICE, legal resources, and independent search services. A link is not an endorsement. This site does not control another service’s accuracy, content, availability, security, privacy, or data handling. Review the destination’s own terms before using it.

No Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free from errors or security flaws, or that a partner search will return every relevant record. Custody and public records change often. Nothing here is an official statement by East Hartford Police, CT DOC, a court, or any government agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, its owners, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access, use, inability to use, reliance on information, or use of an outside service.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the site, its owners, and contributors harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, site text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to East Hartford County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without written permission, except as applicable law allows.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time, and a new version takes effect when posted. Access may be limited, suspended, or terminated at any time and without advance notice when the site owner deems it necessary.

Connecticut Law

Connecticut law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Connecticut.

Severability

If a court finds one part invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. The affected part will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it valid.
